“The proposal was also something of a fantasy. Sam’s family is interstate, and Vydia’s own relatives summer in India, so the couple spend their Christmases in Main Ridge with their friends, the Keebaughs. In December 2019, Vydia’s gift came in the form of a ring. 

“After Christmas lunch they both led me on an unassuming walk around the property and after finding myself standing alone in the courtyard," says Vydia. "I turned around to find Sam on one knee holding the beautiful custom Natasha Schweitzer ring, co-designed with Natasha Chipman. It was such a joyous moment.””
